Default newb needs 600 advice

hey guys

Thinking about getting a cbr as my first bike. From what I understand the newer models are far from a begginer bike. i plan on taking a safety course in the spring. I was wondering what year cbr i should be looking at to suit my needs. Please note that while i understand that getting a 250 or something would be a better choice, thats not gonna happen. I plan on using a ton of restraint so I'd appreciate you guys pointing me in the correct direction as far a a cbr 600 goes..

Thanx in advance!

f4i in good condition preferably under 12000 miles would be a good start if your dead set on a cbr

I would also agree a nice used 600 would be good for your first bike.

Welcome to the boards. Look into an older F2 or F3. Make sure you take the MSF class first and put aside about $500 to $700 for gear before you even get a bike.
