I just got a 88 cbr600. Its not ready to ride yet but hopefulyl within the next couple weeks I'll get it done. I'm just wondering if the msf rider course worth taking. I went to the msf website and the stuff they show in the vids of what the course is seems to be stuff I've already done. I haven't done much street riding but I've rode dirt bikes for a while now. I tried to find one by me put the stie doesn't seem to be working and neither is the 800#. What does these courses usually run?

MSF is definatly worth taking.
The classcovers not only how a bike works, but also things to be aware of while riding, and how to avoidbad situations.

Cost depend on age and where you take the course.
Free all the way up to about $300.
This has been brought up many times on the forum, it is highly recommended.

EDIT: By the way, congrats on the new bike and welcome to the forum.
Lots of experienced folks here to help out if you need it.

Here in florida the MSF course include the test. The test includes some figure 8s that would be difficult on a sportbike, the course provided some little 125s that made it easier. Overall the class was worth it for me, but I started out without any experience at all.
