Default New to the world of motorcycles

Hey everyone. So I just picked up a 98 cbr 600 with 12k miles on it. This is my first real bike. I just got rid of my ruckus becuase I was tired of not being able to do the speed limit and if there was wind (which in sd there is wind almost every day) I couldn't get past 25 mph. So this is a new adventure for me. Have somethings planned for the bike just to clean it up and get it running solid.

I'm glad you got off the ruckus.

Welcome to CBRF! An F3 was my first bike too. I think you'll like the bike more than the scooter. See you on the forum. We have a HUGE f2/f3 following around here.

Welcome to the CBR Forum,

Well with the 600 you WILL be able to do the speed limit. Take it easy and bond with the bike and the throttle. Power delivery too will be just a little different from the ruckus.

Be safe.

Cheers, SB
