New rider from Chlt. NC
Hello all. I am a new rider and just 3 weeks ago bought a 06' F4i. I had 1388 miles on it. It is yellow and dark grey. I have been on it for about 2 weeks now, I was in Disney with the family for a week. I will be getting into the first MSF class avail after Christmas. I have pretty much all the gear, helmet, jacket, gloves and pants. Just missing the crucial experience. Riding is something I have always wanted, and the sport bike is the only kind I have ever wanted. I am now 35 and loving every minute of it. If you have any advice please fire away.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Welcome to CBRF!
I don't have much advice for you, it sounds like you're doing everything right so far.
Take it slow and enjoy the ride....
and don't let go.
I wouldn't try wheelies for the first 10,000 miles at least....lol..
Oh, and you may want to fill her up and add some fuel stabilizer if you're gonna let her sit for long periods.
You're gonna love it, man. More and more every day.
Just remember that all the cagers are trying to kill you. You can't really anticipate everything they're gonna do, because they do stupid chit all the time.
And as soon as you feel really comfortable and you think you're the chit, you'll probably find out that you aren't.
Dam, that was a lot of advice!
Good to have you here, man. There are some very cool F4i riders on this site, and if you have any questions, let 'em know.
Oh, and I almost forgot... if you have any pics, post them up! We love pics!

"Trying" implies they actually cared enough about our existence to bother doing something about it
Welcome aboard! Dunno what your season is like there. It's getting cold here tho. So if you plan to ride through the winter, double your gear expense. There is a difference between winter gloves and regular ones
Remember the bike doesn't do anything, for the most part. One of the most amazing things I know about motorcycles is that the bike will try to keep itself stable. You're the one that tells it what to do (and usually the one that screws it up). Read the sticky post from Juliet "Corner fast... Don't crash". Ride within your limits, not those of your friends' or the squid next to you.
