Default New from Michigan

Hey everyone I'm kind of new to the forum. I've been on here for maybe a month or so and haven't done an introduction yet. So here it is. My name is Patrick, I'm from Grosse Pointe, Michigan. So far, I've had 3 different bikes.

My first one was a 1989 Yamaha FZR 600. It was in horrrrrible condition, but it ran. I bought it from a friend at school when I was 16 and had just received my motorcycle license the week before. That one lasted the summer before it just wouldn't start up for me.

Number 2 was a 1991 Yamaha Seca II 600. This one was in MINT condition and ran perfect. I bought this one at 17 years old (the following summer). Still pretty cheap at only $1300. The previous owner was a pilot and said he was moving up to somethign a little quicker. So at the end of this summer, instead of winterizing and storing the bike, I just sold it. Made a couple hundred dollars off the deal.

Now on to number 3 (my current bike). Right now I'm riding a 2000 CBR F4 600. I bought it about a month and a half ago and am very pleased. The bike was in mint condition and only had around 6500 miles on it. It has the Sunrise Yellow/Black paint scheme and was stock except for a Two Brothers carbon fiber exhaust. Since I bought it, I've installed flush mount front turn signals, put a blacked out zero gravity double bubble windscreen on her, put on carbon fiber levers, bar ends, and mirrors, installed a 10k HID headlight, installed blue illumiglo gauges in the cluster, put on a carbon fiber tank pad, made a custom rear fender eliminator, and cut the rear turn signals and replaced them with a clear euro-style taillight integrator. On top of the cosmetic mods, I've also taken apart the carbs and rebuilt them (not that hard by the way).

So that's my bike history for ya. Lucky number three, right? So if anyone on here is from the Grosse Pointe/Detroit ish area, feel free to shoot me a message so we can go out riding sometime. I'm usually in Royal Oak on thursday nights for their bike night, too.

I also usually have spare bike parts/toys on ebay. So if anyone wants to check it out go here: http://motors.search.ebay.com/_W0QQsassZpallen0831

Alright, thanks for reading. Talk to you guys later.
