Hello everyone!
I have a 1990 CBR600 (F1?) that I've been riding everyday for about 2 months now if the weather allows
I got her right after Christmas from a poor guy desperatly in need of $ and it was a steel (less than 1/2 a G)! After I had the spark plugs replaced she's ran like a dream other than a minor wear out on the gas shut off/reserve ****.
I started riding about the age of 11 on an old 70" indian frame that my dad put together for me, mostly rode trails and until I got my car at 16 I rode my dad's kow on the roads (the things ya could get away with in the 80s)!!
Originally the idea of my CBR was to save gas $ to get to classes everyday, but of course now it's become my therapy! LOL Stressed...go 4 a ride, angry...go 4 a ride, I forgot something at the corner store...u get the point.
Well I came across this site over a month ago (thanks to Google) looking for maintence info on my bike; which I found and put into action...ty who ever posted the info (can't remember who)...
I finally registered tonight & I'm still looking around thru the forums and seeing who's who; where's where, etc. Outa curiosity is there anyone in the SW Michigan area who

Welcome to the CBRF! 
Sounds like you got a heck of a deal there. And yeah, therapy pretty much sums it up.. lol.
You can check out the regional section (if you haven't already).... maybe find some people from your area. There are plenty of members here from michigan, I know that. It's just finding them.
Don't be shy about posting up, either. Pretty cool peeps here.
