Hey all I live in St. Augustine, Fl. I have a 11' cbr 1000 with 4500 miles and a few bolt ons, had a very frightful situation got ran off the road and almost did some major damage to myself since then it's been hard to get back on the bike, so hopefully I can get some support from this community and provide you with some low miles parts off my bike on the F/S section. By all means I loved the bike but people on the road are extremely ignorant. Thanks all, my names paul nice to meet you. I will throw a few pictures up of the bike in a little bit.

 

Nice to meet you Paul, I had an accident and broke my leg in 4 places, broke 2 ribs and shattered my knee cap, it took quite a while to get right but all came well in the end. I hope you get all your confidence back and you soon get back up and running.
I am sure there are people on this forum that have had far worse than me who have managed it and they will most likely tell you so.

Sorry to hear about your mishap, but at least you lived to tell about it. Drivers are always ignorant morons (unless they ride and are stuck in the car that day ) and bikes are dangerous. It's just the way it is.... Only people who ride understand why we accept the risk.

I hope you get back on the bike, but it's okay if you don't. It's not for everyone. I have to say, a 2011 1000rr is a ton of bike for even the most experienced rider. Your post sounds as if you haven't been riding all that long. Perhaps a more forgiving ride would be in your future if you plan to give it another go.

Welcome to CBRF! It sucks you were run off the road. But it's no reason to not get back in the saddle. However, let me know if you do decide to part out your bike. Get to 100 posts fast, I need a gauge cluster (for the right price).

Thanks all for the welcome, I started on a 250, then went to a custom bobber I built along with plenty of friends bikes, however the 1000 is by far a wicked machine very scary haha, yea I understand the posting limit however I may but in from time to time to get there I'm in no rush to sell it just thought I've give the fellow members a go at fresh practically new parts! Haha

 

Welcome to the forum, sorry to hear you crashed. Good luck with getting back to riding proper. I think that a great deal of care should be exercised though, as much I love this hobby of ours I don't believe it's worth our lives. Take care!

Welcome to CBRF... Sorry to hear about the off... I hope that the morons on the road don't totally put you off of riding... But if not, everyone here will understand... 100 posts come really quick... Just read and comment... 100 will pass in no time...

 

Again thanks for the welcomes all, by all means I will never stop riding I think it's just time to retire the 1000 it's a lot of bike.
