Default New member needs a CBR

Hello all. I'm in the process of selling my SV and would really like to upgrade to a CBR 600. I live in NYC. What is the best CBR I can reasonably purchase for $5-6K?

Can anyone recommend any good, used bikes for sale in NYC? Any good dealers? Um... bike dealers.

Any former SV owners here? What did you find were the main differences in handling/performance/etc? Anything I should be aware of?

Thank you in advance.

Hit CL, Ebay for local seller and local Honda dealers, particularly the Honda Bronx location as they often have deals especially in todays economy your likely to get a great deal...go for it.

Check out the Honda dealer (Cycle Word ) located in the Bronx by Blondell Ave/Westchester aVE. Speak to Mike..he is the sales guy I often speak to. They really have a good selection of bikes already prep and ready to ride.

Or call (718) 828-8599 for more info..good luck!

Hit me up when your ready to ride..as I'm also from the Bronx and ride all the time.

peace bro..

One more CBR noob question. My bike is my only vehicle and only means of non-public transportation. Most of my bike time is commuting. Much of it is in 2nd gear putting along in West Side Hwy traffic.

How does a CBR compare in low-speed comfort to an SV650s? What about other Hondas?
