Awww! Frankie is no monster! She looks cute as buttons

Well done on getting her going again so quick! Out of noseyness, what did SB suggest? Was it the carbs?

oh man, if you've got it running for 30 seconds, you may in fact be just a good carb cleaning and fluid flush away from a great running bike. just depends. what's the oil look like?

The petcock has a vacuum line that wasn't attached to the carbs. Once I attached it, she fired right up...then she wouldn't start again the next day. But another suggestion that it could be the spark plugs cleared that up. Now she is back to firing up as soon as I hit the start button

I plan on cleaning the carbs, even though I have her running right now, because from everything I have read, it just seems like a right of passage type of thing for your first bike. But, the oil looked normal. I drained a little just to see what I was working with and didn't see anything to worry about! But a full fluid change is definitely the next thing I am planning!

I bought my bike for the same reason, it's great fun so far!

Start up a mod log for your progress if you havn't already, they are a great place to get help if you need it
