Hi all............just joined up to check out this CBR forum and find out more about these nice machines. Has anyone had any trouble with the electrics on your bike? My wife's 1998 CBR 600 recently went sour on her and left her stranded. It started with the bike draining the battery to where it would not have enough juice to start. The battery was thoroughly checked out by the Interstate folks and assured me that the battery is in excellent condition. I'm thinking that it could or has to be the voltage rectifier/regulator that has gone bad and is doing the draining on the battery.Any advice or info is appreciated.

Do ya ride wid yer high beam!? I know I used to all da time on da freeway and street. then my battery starting getting all weird and I took it back to da dealer and day said it was cuz I had my highs on ALL DA TIME. So since then I just have em on on da freeway and I havn't had probs since. That's all I bring 2 da table on dis 1. WELCOME and visit often!

 

Check her ground wire. Had my 929 act a fool on me a few weeks ago because it came loose with me never having touched the thing once.
