Default New to the Honda world

Just upgraded my 05 GSX-R600. Picked up a 08 1000RR that is pretty much stock besides the fender eliminator. Pics to come soon. Looking for a good slip-on that wont break my wallet in two.

Just a personal opinion: slip-ons are purely cosmetic (and not always an improvement). They add looks and noise. For real performance increases you'll have to go with a full exhaust.

Which will break the wallet in half and feast on its juicy innards

yep, the full exhaust will be for next years tax returns. Im mainly looking for more sound without messing up the performance. The threads ive read said that slip-ons have been making bog at the low end.

Slip on exhaust cans are *a lot* lighter than stock/oem cans.
Weight savings can be a huge benefit when trying to enhance performance.

I also just lifted the valve for the stock exhaust to give it a better sound. Was actually impressed on the difference but, a slip-on will come sometime.
