First, welcome.

Send, one thing to look out for is a bad CCT, search around on this site, theres thousands of posts that will fill you in on this.

I would also be cautious about the "performance parts" that are installed on the bike. What specifically does it have? Are they parts for stunting? Does the guy seem like he is capable of installing such parts?

Welcome! F4i's run forever, so I wouldn't worry much about miles (or kilometers) if the bike is in good shape been well taken care of.

obviously bringing someone very knowledgeable on bikes would be the best route, but you'll get some good advice around here.

Post up some mod lists and pictures of the bike if you have any. That might be a good place to start getting help around here.

Default Welcome

Definately take someone with if possible..if not check out the tires, chain and sprocket ie. worn bad? slack in chain? lubed regularly? Documented maintenence, oil changes ?
look for road rash specially if it has a custom paintjob or new plastics.. Mileage meens little unless its been rode hard.. there's a member here witha F4i with over 200,000 on the ticker,, they run forever if taken care of.
Good luck with the hunt !!

Hey boys, thanks for all the info. I bought the bike buddy was great, all the performance parts were not installed yet so it works out to my benifet. the guy even said he'd come out and install them. he's a helicopter mech. very clean bike though cant wait to rip it. it came with power comm and yosh pipe brand new corbin seat double bubble wind screen, flush mount fronts brand new pilots and brakes. definently need to get a tail tidy though, quite ugly with all that stock crap anybody got any recomandations. thanks again guys. CHEERZ ill post pics soon ps please send pics of tail tidys if u can. thanks
