Default new guy, get the sticks out

well, I've been lurking around a lot here on and off but I never registered here. I've gotten some good info and some good laughs already just from looking around. Well, my name is Mike my bike is a '01 f4i and I've been riding a little over a year. Besides my bike my other project (if it ever gets done) is a '79 camaro with a ls1 and t-56 swap. When I can I play paintball and I want to get into x-ball tournaments soon.

here is my bike:

and the death trap me and my friends made of a gsxr 600:

at the track with it:

its fun, but it doesn't get any traction even though the tires are 10.5 inches wide

edit: lol sorry the pictures are huge, I forgot to resize them

Hello turnstyle, that's one wicked go-kart! Where you at in that picture, at the drag strip?
There's quite a few F4i owners around here, so make yourself at home.

Yeah the pictures are at the drag strip, the E/T times on the kart are horrible with since it wont get traction until the begening of 4th gear if you get on it! But we don't care, its a TON of fun! At some point we plan on making another one but much nicer with suspension and wider wheels/tires if we can find any and a lot of other upgraded things (possibly a 1000cc engine).

At the moment, I forgot to say, that my bike is apart and getting rejuvinated. The wheels, engine cover, stator cover, levers and windscreen bolts are being powdercoated gold. The controls and bars and all that in the front is getting powdercoated black along with the rear sets and swingarm to match. The body is being repaird (when I bought it, it has been down on both sides) and repainted the stock scheme but all that is silver will be black with a gold honda wing instead of red and the "f4i" will stay white. I got a sprocket kit (only down 1 tooth in the front) since it needed a chan badly. And a yoshimura exhaust.

No problem with the pics! It was definitely my fault, I forgot they were so big.

The kart is pretty ridiculously fun. It was hard to find parts for and get it all working properly but once it was finished the trouble was well worth it. We only drive it in empty parking lots and the drag strip. We definitely get a lot of attention with it and of course everyone asks to drive it

As we were finding parts for it, we always got a kick out of people asking why we would need that part on a kart and then their face when we told them what our application was.
