Default New to Forums but not CBR's

Hi all, I'm new to Forums and I hope that I'm doing this right. I do know that there's a lot of good information in Forums but I'm not exactly sure how to find what I'm looking for. Can anyone help me find information on rebuilding my 2004 600RR fuel pump? I see kits on Ebay to rebuild the current pump instead of buying a new pump assembly. I'd rather rebuild than buy a new assembly. That is a huge savings if it can be done right. If it can be done is there a recommended brand of pump that I should look for? All of the kits I saw look like they came with a new filter and everything needed to do the job. My bike falls on it's face at 10 grand under heavy throttle. With 43k on the clock we are thinking that it's having trouble getting fuel at high RPM's.
Thank You

Hi Davy and welcome, have you tried a fuel flow test as per Workshop Manual page 6-57 ,if thats ok try having a look at your secondary injectors to see if their functioning right, before you spend good cash

Thank you CaBaRet, we are currently tracking down the tool to do that test. I bought the bike this summer and I'm just trying to get it running correctly and if it is the fuel pump I just want to know if those kits are for real. It already has the mods that I would do on it but I do not think it was tuned properly after they were done. I'll post a pic of it when they allow me.

That's the best looking set up I've seen yet.

I had to find a listing that was in the U.S. I hate waiting for stuff to come from Japan and China. It takes forever and I have to go to the post office to pick it up. Thanks again for the info
