Converting a f4i to carbs for pre-injection class
Hi guys
I'm thinking about picking up a f4I track bike with all the bells and whistles to race it's out dated in injection class so no no but with carbs it would be a dinger in pre injection .. so the bike has a fuel injection problem so going for small money .
I know that u need carbs ,airbox , tank , fuel pump . Do I need a wiring loom and cdi from f4 or will f4I work ???
Also has anyone done this ??
the reason I don't buy a f4 track bike is they are top runners in pre injection class so make 3500 . This f4I same spec only injection with fuel problem is 1200 so it could be worth a shot .
just wondering what ye think ??
I do my own work and tuning (mechanic)
iv a f3 track bike and iv tuned it too last and stripped syndrome and everything to make faster but aluminum beats steel ..

I would think that everything you need to change to make it an F4 would cost more than just getting an F4, and there would not be any advantage to doing it.
Now figure out how to carb a late model 600rr and you would be on to something. Lighter, better suspension, ,and way more aggressive riding position.....
