Default New fighter in the forum

Hey guys and gals, just joined the site. You seem like a good crowd so I figured I'd share my winter build with you as it comes along. I picked up a 2001 CBR 929 with under 7000 Kilometers on the odometer and am building my second fighter. I've already started but I'll throw some pics up as it comes along. If you have any suggestions pm me, any outside criticism or ideas are welcome!

Bike looks absolutely badass. Real good to have you here. Tons of very knowledgeable folks, but I'm sure you'll get the more official welcome wagon soon. Maybe even the Cobber himself!

Haha, good to hear. I'll absorb as much info as I can and hopefully be able to provide a little too.

That's the best way to go about it. It would seem you have at least a general knowledge about working on bikes, but in the various subforums there are links to the mechanics manuals.

Wow, awesome welcome wagon guys! I'll be posting a lot of pictures for you in the next while as this progress. So far I have vortex clip ons and a vortex master with an Acerbis headlight (I know, an overly common choice). I'll open a thread in the 929 forum and keep you guys and gals updated. Hopefully she'll look completely different by the time riding season rolls around
