Default 00 929 fighter

here's my 929 that i fightered this past weekend. pretty much jus took off the plastics and put on a round off-road headlight. i was going for a very rough look. mad max style...post apocalyptic. the light came with a H3 halogen bulb but i cut into it and put an H4 so i could have lo and hi beam. the chrome cover makes me more visible so i kept it but its detachable. debating if i should cut the exhaust in half. comments, questions, opinons and suggestions are appreciated.

cut that exhaust down and header wrap or paint the exhaust, black out the motor, cut those intake runners a bit to expose more of that awesome looking frame....

i like it, looks great!!!!!

hide wires better, get rid of fake ugly carbon fibre levers and pic up a set of adjustable ones in black or gold. gold would go with your brakes, up to you.

should i jus take the ram air tubes off? would it affect performance? i plan on cutting the can but bad weather this weekend is gonna keep me from doing that. i plan on getting some new grips, bar ends and some new levers would b nice. gold is actually a good idea. there's another blade around that's fightered and he did the same thing but he painted his engine black so he beat me to the punch. r there any advantages to heat wrapping the headers? my blade runs almost 10 degrees cooler now. painting the headers a flat black would look good i think. i actually would like to bobb the tail but i also like the trunk space and i take my wife on weekend rides.

just pull 'em out. it won't affect anything. wrapping the exhaust keeps the heat in the pipes, making the exhaust less dense, so easier to push out. and it helps to keep the area surrounding the motor cooler too (not that its really an issue on a naked bike though)...

and i guess the weekend rides with the wife and the fact you like trunk space kinda throws out bobbing the tail doesn't it?

i took off the ram air tubes and i lost some mid and high range power so the tubes are staying until i can get the PC reprogrammed or find an alternate solution to th loss of power. i was planning on cutting the exhaust but after noticing the loss of power with only removing the ram air tubes i've decided no to for now.

bobbing it is still up in the air. for now im gonna get some new grips, bar ends and levers.

had to fix a oil leak. the sealing bolt and washer came off the cam chain tesioner lifter so at high speeds oil leaked. safe to say it wasn't much and found a replacement amongst the several bolts and screws i collect.

i also installed a new chain slider. unfortunately it was the wrong one but i measured it and used a hole punch and it sat. i like to mcgyver things.
