i cut my exhaust and installed a baffle in the mid pipe. sound is controlled and not obnoxiously loud and high rpms. cant comment on the power since my headlight went on th fritz and i havent had a chance to use it with the new exhaust. its rough around the end to stick to the rough mad max look i was going for. the pic isnt the greatest so i'll take a couple more to show the over all length.

then take it off cuz it doesnt matter, your gonna get dirty anyway. what about giving it a trim? like to a point in the front, and maybe a few large holes in the sides?

it doesn't look so bulky with all the fairings, but man, once you take em off, that fender is huge

i cut the exhaust down to practically nothing but its not an open pipe. it has a baffle, so the sound is controlled. looks good but its rich at idle now and i knew i was goin to lose mid-range power. i was thinkin of removing the PCIII for now until i can get it dynoed, unless it isn't worth it since the pipe is so short. need some technical help on this one. here are some pics.

i nixed the exhaust with the baffle since it was restricting exhaust flow at high rpms. here is the new one...
