Hello all. I am new to this forum as well as Honda. I have been riding for 22 years and loyal to Kawaski. I have now been converted. I brought my Kawi in for repairs (Bike was knocked over by a forklift!!) to local service dept. I was looking through the showroom floor as I was contemplating buying a new ZX10R in the near future and saw it. The Siver and Black CBR1k. I was impressed, until I sat on it and noticed how comfortable it is and just felt right. Then the dealer told ne that there is a special price and I should consider that Honda is also offering a $2500 incentive as well. $7500 later and some paper work and I am a proud new CBR 1k owner. I LOVE IT! I cant believe how well built and user friendly this 1K is. Handling, Ergonomics, Styling and Power are near perfect. I am used to the high strung buzziness of the 6r's, and ZZR6's, which I like but the brute power of the 1k is unreal. I cant say enough but thank you Honda.

Thanks, I have been in the Coast Guard for 18 years. I love the silver and black, I couldnt decide on the color. Originally the dealership had a burgundy/silver and a red one. I couldnt decide between the two, when the salesman said they have a silver and black in the back and brought it out it was a no brainer for me. thanks for the welcome, take care.

Thanks all. I am recovering from Hernia surgery right now so I cant ride it. Just admire it in the garage. That is killing me. I hope to recover before the weather changes here in Rhode Island. Oh well gives me a chance to work on my christmas list!!

 

Geez, this is killing me. Haven't fully decided on a paint scheme and guys keep showing these beautiful bikes.

Not reayd for a 1k yet, maybe in a year or two. But I hope I can get something that looks that good when I am. Nice find and howdy!
