New CBR owner in NJ
Greetings from NJ, I just purchased a 91 CBR1000f yesterday, this will be my seventh motorcycle in 30 years! I delivered my 01 KLR to its new owner in PA, turned around and picked up the CBR in Mountain lakes.
I bought the KLR on an impulse, off a friend who had acquired it. It had sat outdoors under a deck for several years, he got it running and decided he didnt want it any longer. I purchased it, put a new shock in, painted the severely faded plastics, heated hand grips, new tires chain and sprockets. I put just over 5k on the bike. You can see it on my you tube channel Gpzlindy63
As much as I enjoyed its off road /on road capabilities I found myself longing for a street bike again. I had an 81 gpz1100 for 15 years, I loved that motorcycle, and was really missing the feel of the full liter bikes. This will be my 3rd Honda. I bought the bike because I like the riding posture, how smooth the engine runs and the previous owner kept this bike immaculate and it is red and will match my helmet!
Looking forward to being a part of this forum.

Welcome to the forum Lindy,
Nice video introduction - well done.
Am I right in guessing that the 63 is the year of your birth? If so, with a CBR1000F and the best decade you fit in quite well here
As GotCBR said, there is a very active Hurricane membership in the forum and we are all here to help so head on over to the saloon and say hi!
Oh, and don't forget to vote for the CBR1000F in this months Ride Of The Month (ROTM) - link below.
Just 'cause it happens to be mine is purely coincidental!
Ride safe
Cheers, SB
