Hello everyone. I'm new to the forum. I just bought a 2004 CBR600RR as my first supersport after riding in the dirt since I was three years old. I owned an Sv650s before my CBR and put 800 miles on it in a week. I then decided that I wanted to try one of the supersports to see how different the powerband was and instantly fell in love with it compared to my V-Twin. I, of course, chose the CBR because of how comfortable it is. I'm only 18, but I joined the forum to learn more about my motorcycle, the community surrounding CBR's and riding in general. Hopefully I can do that! Thank you for having me on this forum.

Welcome to the CBR Forum Chris,

Your history on dirt should put you in good stead for the road. Still take it easy out there.

Cheers, SB

welcome to CBRF! i'm glad you've stepped up to the CBR too, my roommate had an sv in college. i liked it but... the difference in that between my f3 (let alone what would be your 600rr) left me wanting for more.

Thanks everyone!

And yes, I love this CBR so much more than my SV650S. Although I am glad I did get it for a first street bike rather than the supersport. It made learning how invisible I am to everyone else on the road my priority rather than 'how to pop a wheelie' or something like that.
