Just picked up an '02 CBR600F4i this morning for $2500. This is my second bike, my first being a Ninja 250 I sold last month. I LOVE THIS THING. It's the most comfortable sportbike I've been on, even being 5'3", and the power compared to my old Ninja is pretty amazing. Needs to be cleaned up some, but it was still a pretty great deal and I'm excited to have a project. Now I just have to try to leave it parked until I find a decent insurance rate...

Good deal for $2500 you will LOVE the F4i coming from a 250.
Has it been lowered? The side stand look a bit weird.. Might just be the angle of the picture.

Welcome to the forum and congrats on the bike!
You got a great deal. Bike look nice except for the seat. You can recover it yourself for only a few dollars of material and a little time. Hit me up if you want to ride when you get up and running, or if you need a hand with it. I'm just up the freeway a bit from you.

If you can't find insurance for a decent price, PM me and I'll pass the number of the insurance guy that I use. He did good for me, and maybe he can help you too. It may be worth a call.

You got a really good deal! Congrats. Welcome to the forum.

As 74demon said, you can recover the seat yourself. Myself & Turbulenz above, have done the same. Just get some marine vinyl from Joann's (& a stapler) & do it yourself.

Very happy for you. You'll love the F4i. Its a great bike. Enjoy!

Thanks guys! Have I mentioned how much I love this bike...?

It hasn't been lowered AFAIK. I am planning to install a new kickstand though, since it leans over a little too much for my liking. And good to know about the seat! I figure that shouldn't be too hard.

I'll definitely hit you up sometime, 74. I'm still taking it easy and learning the bike for now. :3

Excellent. Don't let your riding buddies talk you into going to Palomar Mountain. ;-)

Oh yeah, heheh. I've been there a few times on my Ninja, but I'm definitely going to need to hone my 600cc riding skills before I start hitting up the fun roads!
