New to CBR Forums Castaic, Ca
I've been riding 1977
Grew up in Thousand Oaks, Ca. So, that means lots of Mountains, Canyons, Ocean and Freeways to learn on to hone my skills.
At 18, I went to LATTC to be trained professionally as a Motorcycle Technician and got straight A's throughout the 2 year course.
I've worked for Kolbe Cycles (the First American Honda Motorcycle Dealership) and Kolbe Motors (Honda Cars) for 10 years and another 15 years as an ASE Master Honda Gold Level Tech.
I shifted careers to IT in 1999 and have been an MCSE/Apple Certified Tech since then. I'm approaching my 5 year mark as a Special Agent for Best Buy's Geek Squad (which has been the most enjoyable job I've had to date).
I'm married (25 Years come May 20th 2010)
3 (adult) Kids : 1 Rocket Scientist, 1 Marine, 1 graduating High School in June 2010 and will be off to college, but not leaving home
My hobbies are Motorcyles, IT, Guns & Sushi (in no paticular order)
When I used to work on bikes I really wanted to buy the CBR1000F, but couldn't budget it with a new house, wife and baby at home.
20 years later, IT'S MINE!
My steeds over the years have included in order (edited for a few more gems that I remembered):
1975 Yamaha DT400 (used)
1976 Yamaha XS360 (used)
1973 Yamaha TX750 (used - rode for 600K miles and 3 engines)
1971 Yamaha JT60 (used)
1970 Hodaka 100 Super Rat (used)
1980 Suzuki GS550E (1 new / 1 used)
1982 Honda CX500T (used)
1982 Honda MB5 (used)
1997 Honda XR250 (new)
1987 Honda XR200 (new - really the wife's but mine to care for and lent to my brother to ride with me when he visited)
1982 Honda CB900F (new)
1985 Hoda CH250 (used) Yeah it's scooter. A scooter that went 80 MPH!
1982 Kawasaki GPZ550 (used)
1998 Suzuki Bandit GSF600 (used)
2001 Suzuki Bandit GSF600K (new - still have with 90K on the odometer)
1985 BMW K100RT (used)
2002 BMW K1200RS (used - still have, just turned 10K on the odometer)
1990 Honda CBR1000F (used - still have just has 39K on the odometer)
Here's how it looks before I started to clean her up and my Bandit is behind it. I'm going to get rid of the silly scooter trunk and install a Givi Wing rack Kit on it.

FINALLY A MAN WITH ALL THE ANSWERS!
Quite the resume there. Now we have someone we can send all the computer, AV and motorcycle questions to. Plus a rocket scientist he can tap when we really want to get crazy with the mods
Welcome aboard!
