Nice looking bike in the silver. IMO no helmet is too expensive, get the best one you can afford you only got one head. You will soon be up and at'em so take it easy and dont get suckered in to go chasing your biking buddies round bends. If they are decent guys or gals for that matter they will happily sit at a sensible speed and on not too demanding roads with you to get some miles under your belt. Every mile ridden is a bit more data for you to store away and call on when you need it.

Enjoy it and be cool you get more miles that way.

i hear ya gazza. i plan on riding at my own speed. and i thought about the helmet thing again, i do only have 1 head and i want to protect it the best way i can. i'm a firefighter and i've seen a couple of bike wrecks that didn't end to well for the rider. so i want to make sure i'm protected as much as possible. or at least as much my money will allow me....lol
