Default New girl with an F4i

Just wanted to say hello to everyone. I just bought my first bike about a week ago, it a 2002 F4i. I had my frame sliders put on yesterday. Have ridden a bit in a big empty mall parking lot around here, and am getting somewhat more comfortable. I am enrolled in the MSF course, but that is not until two weeks from now. It will be hard to stay off of it until then...

I do have one question though... how much can this bike be lowered? I heard 1 inch, is that correct.

Thanks everyone, and nice to meet ya.

Emily

Welcome to the forum. Usually a sports bike can be lowered up to 1 inch to 1 1/2 inches. +1 for the MSF and +1 for Frame Sliders, sounds like your on the right track and have a good head on your shoulders.

welcome. i'm new also and i'm ridin a 2001 F4i. i just rode mine for the 1st time in a parking lot yesterday. my buddy had it before i did and he had it lowered. i can find out how much it was lowered for u if no one answers before i do. my msf class isn't until the end of next month. so i'm just gonna ride it around my subdivision until then just to get more comfortable with it. but anyway, welcome aboard and post some pics of your bike.
