For many of us they become an addiction..................
I've had mine 6 years now and I wouldn't part with it.
The "grin factor" is just too high, every time I fire her up

It is beautiful ! Nice ride. And you are correct, I've only had mine a year and I am totally addicted to it. I dont plan to get another bike unless it's another CBRF. I havent figured out how to post pics yet, but I finally corrected most of the previous owners lack of love for her and am pretty proud of it.

thanks one and all for the comments.
I had the offer of a ride on a Kwaka ZZR 1100 a week ago as a comparison.
It felt lighter and quicker and the brakes were better, but try as I might I just couldn't feel connected with it.
And it had a really hard seat ! park benches are more comfy !

Default Nice

That's a great looking CBR. I'm picking up a '91 tomorrow and am thrilled. I had a '90 about 15 years ago and loved it.

Beautiful bike. 2 questions; what luggage set-up is that and what is the gizmo on the throttle? It looks like a widget to rest the palm on for cruising.

Turbo, Unless I'm wrong, that looks like a Nonfango set of luggage rails. I have very similar units on my bike. Cleaner setup that the later Givi units IMO.
The widget on the throttle looks like some kind of "cruise control" or throttle lock.......? Not a fan of those.

We gotta find you some new wing mirror boots, Lagoona

Thanks for the kind comments guys
The luggage rack is a Givi system as far as I know, but an early one.
The widget on the throttle is a crampbuster. ( well spotted turbo !)
It dosen't have any locking device it just grips the handlebar gip and allows you to keep a throttle open with the plam of your hand, and enable you to relax ur grip / wiggle your pinkies ect.
The wing mirrors have aftermarket spacers on to give a better view behind, I never realised they should have boots on them !
