Default New Around These Parts!

Hey! My name is Tommy, and I'm from North Carolina. I've been creeping around the forum for a few months now. I'm just now posting!

I have a 99 CBR 600 F4. I love it! I was test riding bikes, and when I rode the F4, I fell in love. I found a decent one in my price range, rode up in the truck, and bought it! My girlfriend, soon-to-be fiancee, will be riding a 300 before long!

She has a few problems right now that just started occurring. I hope to get her back and riding, before season is over.

Are there any riders in the Southwest Virginia, Northeast or mid-North Carolina area? I've got a few buddies I ride with, all CBR's except the 2 GSX-R guys. We give them hell! But always looking for someone new to ride with.

Here she is! Mine is the red F4, and the yellow one is my best friends!

Welcome to the CBR Forum Tom,

Lots of smart folk on the forum so ask any questions you need to keep your ride running. Thanks for posting the pictures as well - looks a nice bike.

Cheers, SB

Thank you very much! She is a nice bike. Recently ran into some problems with it. Waiting on my Haynes manual to come in before I mess with it more. If I can't figure it out, I'll definitely be making a thread.

Welcome to CBRF Tom.

Start a thread after you figure it out? Where's the fun in that?
Start one to help fight it out.... We are better than the manual, sometimes.

Welcome Tom. I used to live in Eastern NC - lots of good country roads, I miss it very much. There are a few guys on here from the middle of the state, hopefully they'll chime in.

Beautiful F4 BTW. Enjoy the forum
