I'm starting to see more and more of these running around town with the higher gas prices. This would be in the Inland Empire area of SoCal (Redlands, Loma Linda, San Bernardino, etc).

How about you guys/girls? Do you like/dislike?

I think they could be fun for buzzing around town, but not sure I'd like them on the fwy with all the lifted trucks around here.

but nothing in the IE surprises me... NOTHING.. i have a pic somewhere of the first time i drove down to the IE from Tahoe/Mammoth... and there was a Highway sign with a tag# and veh. desc. and said Police Shooting Suspect at Large All my Oklahoma *** could think, was haha thank god i own a gun!

Ahh the Smart Car. I've seen a few here and there but nothing common yet. I think they are very economical but would be horrible if an accident were to happen.

Would rather have the maneuverability of my bike w/ the gas mileage it gets

 

Obviously you see them in Europe..I remember seeing one for the first time in Paris. It looked like a toy....but with gas prices...we'll all be driving one soon. [sm=rolleyes.gif]

This was bound to happen sooner or later...It would be fun to really mod it out though....make it do like a10 second quarter mile [sm=smiley20.gif]

 

I was in Dallas this past weekend and there was one on a trailer. The funny part was it was on a trailer just like this one that holdsthree cars and it was all by itself. I wish I would have taken a pic.

 

Ive started seeing quite a few around here. I would hate to be in one on the freeway though. If it was fast I would want one. Twin turbos???

there is a smart car dealership over here in milwaukee...the company i work for did the electrical for it. they also had one at the milwaukee auto show. quite roomy for a tall person, but its a death trap. one accident and the car along with you are history. but the cool thing about them is that you can put a engine from a yamaha or suzuki sportbikeand turbo them...instant 9sec car. lol. so i hear.
