ive got a 99 f4 and the plastics are off now to flat black 'em-
ve already done the tail, but the sides are clean (scratches on right but no breaks) and iv got no ft.
if you want my sides and ft fender(its been trimmed back about one inch and rounded off to "snubnose"it a tiny bit ill trade you for yours you want em. doesnt matter to me as i was going to chopem up and use em to make a mold for the composite lower belly im imagining, i know its not much but i thought id offer. ..
im nw to the forum too

hey man thanks forthe offer man but i just went out and bought the rhino lining stuff... iam bout to post pics though...

but please send me the link to the thread with your build, i would love to follow along with what you are doing. it seems we are heading the same direction now.

im paintig mine w. bedliner too( got the idea from a friend who did his old cb750 w it and rode from minnesota to louisianna a fewtimes and still no flaking or chips.
i never was the neat and shiny kinda guy anyway even if i tried.
im takin all winter to do this . we can share ideas as we go. glad to meetya

Thanks for all of the support guys! Iam bout to go out and start stripping off the chipping liner... pics will be up tonight!

Also, I think i have decided to make a custom undertail, so if you guys have any tips please i would love to hear them. I have done a little research on the subject but i have not tackled it yet!
