Default In need of buying advice

As a new forum member, and one in the market for his first CBR, I'm looking to purchase a used 600 model no more than 2 or 3 years old and had a couple of questions.

First, who kind of mileage should I be looking for on the bike that it's still in good shape? Do not want anything with too much.

Second, price -- what kind of price range should I be looking in?

Lastly, what are best places to look for used CBRs for sale?

Thanks for helping out a new guy

Ed

You can try eBay, but be very careful. Lots of bad stories come from there.

Craigslist has local listings as well.

Welcome to the forum.

Ed, I went through cycletrader because I could limit my search radius to within so many miles of my zipcode. I like to be able to look at, start, ride the bike before making the purchase. I got an 02 954 with less than 7k for $5000. I would just be careful aboutbuying anything that you can't put your hands on. www.cycletrader.com

Forgot about cycle trader... that's why I mentioned craigslist. I would never buy anything that wasn't close enough to look at first. Just use them to find local or bikes close enough to look at.
