Default N00b

Hello everyone, Names Joey. I live in panama city, FL. I just recently bought a 2000 CBR 600, It's my first bike and I am loving it so far. I went from 5 years of dirtbike racing to a sports bike. I have no intentions of racing this though. It's a great bike to get around on but the owner before me decided to put aftermarket turns and brake light in. He had to wire them in himself and did not do a good job at all. The brake light is working properly but the wires needed to be cleaned up and heatshrinked. The turn signals wern't even wired in.... So I took the time to do those yesterday. The only problem I am Having now is the head light. It does not turn on when the bike is turned on. You have to actually get on the bike and rump down on the throttle while driving and it will turn on. I'm thinking a high resistance in the wire somehwere ?

Thanks!

EDIT: The bike is black, White tailes and turns, D&D slip on, ZEROground viser, Mirror deletes, rear handle delete, and its stretched 8".

Sounds like you got a handle on the turn signals, Headlight, erm check all the wiring, if its not the wiring the R/R or stator may be going out.

Get rid of the stretched swingarm lol
