Looking for advice on a new(ish) cbr
Hello everybody, I just sold my starter bike and am looking to get a newer one. I like the feel of the newer cbr's more than the yamaha r6 and I don't really like the look of the gsxr's. I found this craigslist ad and was wondering what you guys think. The seller claims that it was dropped by the previous owner while parked, but I'm nervous that it was wrecked. The scratches on the generator cover are parallel, the mid fairings are black, and in every pic of the same year color...they are grey, and that the brake levers were replaced with aftermarket ones. Before I drive a half hour out to look at this bike in person, what are your opinions? Thanks in advance. 08 honda cbr 600rr

I'm thinking it should be a pass, You're right about the "tip-over", That's bikes been
down at speed. So that's strike one. If he was ignorant enough to believe the PO,
what else doesn't he know? If he's smart enough to know the difference, he's been
lying to you, so what else is he lying about?
Save the gas money, otherwise you'll be over-anxious to buy, because of the
time/money invested. Then you'll be lying to yourself.
There are lots of fish in the sea, keep casting.

Never be desperate! Patience is the name of the game. Fall in love after the purchase,
not before. Bring a cynical friend with you, Listen to him/her.
This is as important as picking a room-mate, bad choices will haunt you for a long
time. Read the how-to's and specific forums when you see a posisibility, find out
what others say about it's good/bad, what to look for.
Good luck, Ern
