Hi all, nice to be here. After riding behind my boyfriend since last summer, I had to try this. I am a newbie rider - today was the 1st day I rode a bike in my motorcycle safety class (in the pouring rain I might add!). It was a blast, and class was over WAY too soon. I am looking for either a 600RR or an F4i for my first bike. I'm super excited and can't wait to practice more. If anyone has advice about what to get, how to be an awesome rider, or whatever, I'd love to hear it. I'm short, 5'5", so what do you think about lowering kits? Boots?

Congrats. Glad to hear you're taking the MSF course. As far as bike recommendations, personally I would recommend going with something smaller than the 600. My own $.02, but if you've never ridden before, I'd recommend going with a 250 or 500 until you are comfortable with the bike and riding in general.
you can't go wrong with either CBR. good luck in your search
