I dont think this bike is a true 1989 LINK. Has is listed as a 89 I thought Honda only made the Hurricane in 87 and 88??? Is this a true 89?

 

88 model, registered in 89 - probably old stock at a dealer..............It's an 88, Mk1

Mine was originally listed as a '96.

 

they made the hurricane from 87-89 ....... i had an 89 600 first bike i ever owned ...........sport bike that is .... in the late 80's that was the bike to have!!!!!!!!!!! first time i ever seen one i was like i gotta have one....

 

The 600's were a bit different than the 1000F 'Cane. The 1000F got a bunch of revisions in '89, and I've never seen one in the states that I can remember.
Kinda like the '92 model year. I've never seen one of those in the states, either.

 

i didn't even know the made a 92 ! do you have any pictures of a 92?

 

The Hurricane 1000 was only made in 1987 and 1988. Honda went with the CBR name from 1989 and up.
Really the same bike just different name.
