Default Introduction

Hello folks,

I just wanted to take an opportunity to introduce myself. I'm a decently new rider (~6 months experience) and just wrecked my first bike. I have a 2007 CBR600RR and am in the process of rebuilding it. I'm going to have to replace the motor due to a cracked crank case, and several other parts so I'm sure I'll be making posts in the Do it Yourself project forum. For the most part I imagine that I'll be trolling the forum archives for the information I need but I'm sure I'll pop in to post a question that has already been asked before from time to time. I worked on cars and ski lifts as a mechanic several years ago but if anyone has any advice on repairing bikes I'm all ears.

A little about me, I'm a Student Naval Aviator on my way to start flight school in Pensacola Fl, originally from Austin Tx. I used to work for Apple Computer, Dell, NC Soft, and a few other computer companies before going back to school to finish my history degree. I recently graduated from University of New Mexico out in Albuquerque and am looking forward to not living here anymore.

Nice to meet all of y'all, I'm sure I'll be getting to know several folks in the coming months.
