Default Intro - Essex, UK - CBR1000F

Hi

Just a quick intro from Southend, Essex, UK. I came back to biking in my late 40's and since then have had a few bikes but have now gone from an old 1981 GS650G to a 1991 CBR1000F. The previous owner professionally resprayed it red (pics at http://www.flickr.com/photos/fred_bear/) so I just have to do a few minor things like adjust the chain (15 - 25mm I think) and fit bar risers as at 6' 4' I need the bars up a bit, and must move the brake / gear lever down slightly.

The first time I saw the bike I fell in love with it and riding it is a totally different experience to anything before (a bit like a88 VFR750 I once had). It looks fantatsic,is a joy to ride, and is the first bike I have had that I know I will keep.

All the best from 'sunny Southend'! If there is anyoneSE Essex based who wants to get in touch let me know, or anyone with advice on a 91 CBR100F.

Thanks

Regards
Fred

Your CBR000F looks great in the all over red, nice respray by the looks of it ..deep shine ..me likey!! :-)

All your advice and questions can be answered in the "hurricane" forum, thats what they call them over in the states ..we just call them CBR1000Fs ..lol
