Default The inner child got the better of me...

Hello all...
So, after many years of not being on a bike (life, mortgages, divorces, houses, you know the deal!) i was offered my older brothers bike. It had sat, looking forlorn and sad in his garage for 14 years, occasionally being moved out of the way to get to the lawn mower and whatnot...So they divorce, house is sold and i get the offer of a (fairly) cheap 1990 CBR1000F in resplendent "shell suit red/white/blue".
Kinda rude not to.....
As mentioned, its sat for a bit. and in fairness, it looks pretty clean. Brakes are binding, rubber was new when it parked up but has sat for a lonnnnng time and all round it could do with a clean up and polish.
It'll get transported to my garage shortly as time is ticking on the house sale and i'll get going with "tinkering" until the weather improves next year (UK weather, unpredictable at best!) and get an MOT on the beasty....
Had a string (7) of bikes before but this ones the biggest & heaviest!! She will ride again.....

A touch ropey but raunchy nonetheless....

Beautiful - this was the poster model for the CBR1000 launch. Still looks great today, but I am a little biased. And - original exhausts! that's rare especially for a UK bike...

Note - VFR750 adjustable clutch and brake levers (and aftermarket versions) are a drop-in replacement.
