Default ima new guy. need a little advice please

Hey whats going on guys?

I need some advice on a new bike for a first time rider. I race motocross and own a 00 250cr. im 6"3 and weigh 190 n im 20yrs old. im thinking about buying a bike around 5Gs. im really thinking about getting a 650cc or higher. i really love cbrs and my dad works at a honda dealership. i ask em about bikes but he doesnt really want me to get one. haha such a hypocrit! anyways, any help you could give me would be great!

Are there any good streetbike dealer shop sites you know about? im moving to cali in 3 weeks. around the san diego area.

Thanks, I appreciate your time.

Since you already ride, and aren't new to bikes altogether (but new to street bikes), I would really consider an F4i...probably because I have one. They are one of the most well rounded bikes I can think of (not just my opinion). Comfy, plenty of speed, good on the track, good on a longer trip, and better priced that the RR's. Good luck. I would actually hit up your dad to get you a bike on his employee discount. Suzukis, Yamahas, and Kawis all make good bikes. Who does he work for?
