Howdy from CO
It has been such a good month for me that I can't help but be excited. I'll be collecting my first bike in 2 weeks, a '92 CBR 600 F2, and I can't wait to ride it. I've riden bikes that belonged to relatives and friends and it is about time that I got one for myself. I've tried to upload the pics I have of my diamond in the rough but they're too big so I'll post them up later. So I just wanted to say HOWDY! and hope to see ya'll around.

Hiyu and welcome mate
It nice to see you are bubbling with excitement ..
2 weeks ... that will kill you having to wait that long
You can do plenty of reading while your waiting though ....you can learn heaps from this forum about your new ride ...

Honestly folks, I forgot I had an account here until yesterday.
The past year or so after getting my bike has been filled with trials and tribulation. Been unemployed over 3 months now and I'm getting no bites. I've been looking for things to do and there isn't really a whole lot I can do without spending money. So I decided to finish up my story on here.
This is what the bike looked like before I brought her home; note the pile of beaten up F3 plastics in the background. I should have known that was a sign!!

Another pic

This is after getting some of the CORRECT fairings, except for the RT side F3 cowl.

Since that point I had serious electrical problems; R/R, wires and connectors. Cleaned the carbs, and when I took the tank off I found that the upper cleaner housing was missing. (Gee, more parts to acquire!!!)
I broke down and did a quick paint job so that all of the fairings were the same color, the ones that I've been keeping on the bike. But I noticed something when I was fitting the parts was that I had to shake my head a couple of times 'cuz I saw this.

So at some time I need to figure out how I'm going to correct that...
Well as of now it won't look too bastard-like while I'm riding it.

I also found out that I need to get me an APE CCT, because DAAAAAAAAYUM!!! I thought I was about to be struck by a rattlesnake when that chain started rattling at me. 8-0

Well the list is piling up because I went to check the oil level in my forks and the right one isn't at a level that I could read. So new seals and wipers are added to the check list.
