Default Hi from Essex, UK

Hi everyone,

Recently bought a 1997 CBR 600.

Its my second bike really and a bit of a project.

Not that I am mechanically minded so have lots of
inane questions to ask so please be patient.

Had a number of bikes and never really saw the point
of sporty bikes until now.
This thing flys and is so light its like riding a bmx.
My bandit 600 now seems slow and cumbersome.

Will take put some pics up soon.

Yep it needs it, got gaffa tape on the seat and a bit in places
on the fairing.

For what I paid though can't complain.

Changed oil and filter, put on some new indicators, topped
up other fluids and replaced a few fairing bolts.

Been out on it again today and still can't stop grinning.

Still needs a bit of work, seat included but gonna ride it
for a while. Bound to get some ice and snow soon so will
give it some work then as don't ride if the roads are too
treacherous
