Default Hi from Australia...

Hi all

After a long lay-off from riding I am looking at getting back on two wheels....soooo I'm here to do some research on the CBR series.

Looks like some great info and people, look forward to learning more about the bikes.

Cheers

G'Day JGM and welcome to the CBR Forum,

How long have you been off two-wheels and wherabouts in Victoria? There are a few Aussie members on the forum and one or two very knowledgeable CBR bods in and around Melbourne.

What sort of CBR are you investigating? We can possibly steer you towards the CBR1000F which is a very affordable grand old dame of the road The whippersnappers will suggest the CBR600rr and such like

All good bikes, and quite possibly the best bike related forum on the internerd.

Cheers, SB

I am in the Shepparton area and the 1000F is exactly what I am looking for! I have done plenty of dirt riding and raced 250 prodies back in the early 90s so my rip roaring, redlining days are over, but I am in throw back mode and looking for a big carbed Jap 4!

I have some questions but I think I will post them up in the relevant section.

Thanks for the welcome guys

Welcome!

Aussies and 1000fs seem to go hand in hand. You will fit right in!
