I own an 05 600RR. Was wondering where I can find general maintenance info, kinda new to the bike thing. =P

 

Welcome to the site... Search the how-to section. A lot of good information on things such as oil changes, mods, etc. You'll find what your looking for or just pop a question. Someone will help you out...

 

Thanks. I was just about to use the search feature. Didn't allow me to use it until I registered as a member.

For the moment im just looking up general maintenance like how often to do an oil change, type of oil, air filter replacement, etc. to keep my bike in prime condition.

You'll get a lot of answers on when to change the oil, book says 3000 and I do around 3000. A lot of guys here change every 1000 miles. At about $50 an oil change, that would really add up on me. I have an 05 with 15000 miles.

I haven't been able to find the 05 manual on pdf. Only the 03-04 when i search on this site. Has anyone found it? o.O
