Smile hey guys, new here from the UK :)

Hello everyone!
I dont actually own a cbr yet but have owned a cbr 125 before
I found this forum after a quick google search, looking for some information

Im 23, living in the south coast of england, working night shift at a supermarket. Pretty simple life but I enjoy it.

I joined here to get some advice about my next bike which Im having a hard time deciding what to get im definitely getting a cbr 600 but can't decide what one. Ive got a budget of around £3000 and im looking at either a 2002 cbr600 fsport and a 2004/5 cbr 600 rr.

With the f sport its cheaper to run (petrol, parts) better pillion seat as I take the missus on the back often. Its less track focused and I go on long rides often so its abit more comfy. But its older, more miles.

The RR is an RR. Its gorgeus and has been my dream bike since I first set eyes on one. Its newer so less miles, hopefully

Its basically a head over heart decision and I cant seem to choose! Im hoping to get some real world advice from people whobhave actually owned them

Cheers guys

Welcome to the CBR Forum Tony Lee B,

Hopefully the 600 boys will chime in with some helpful advice for you.
Good luck with your choice and post some pictures of your new ride when you get it.

Cheers, SB

Welcome to CBRF! There's not really all that much between those bikes. Ergos, you're dead right, it is more comfortable. But at 23yrs old, the difference probably isn't so much. It won't be night and day. It may be for your lady friend, though. the 03/04 RR's rear pegs are incredibly uncomfortable.

Thanks for the replies guys
The thing I really want to know is what are the main draw backs of each? Is there any problems I should look out for, what goes wrong which can be a big issue?

The RR I am looking at currently is this beast:

http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&id=181236375103&globalID=EBAY-G

Im always thinking whu is it so cheap? Or is that the price its worth :S

Thabks again

Price looks okay but not great, personally I'd opt for the F especially if you're going to, you know, ride it! The RRs are still good bikes though, I'm sure they'd be equally reliable so long as you maintain them.

Welcome to CBRF... Can't go wrong with either... But the F sounds like it may suit your needs better...
