Default Help

Hi I have a Cbr 1000f 1979 I fitted a new solenoid but all I get is a buzzing noise coming from it when I try to start the bike anybody any ideas what might be wrong

What year?
What does it do if you don't have it connected to the starter and you just touch it with jumper cables connected to the battery?

If the battery is low it can buzz when the starter button is pressed.

Yip the battery was low bought a new one now starts perfect cheers guys for your help
