Hey everyone, My name is Robert, i've been lurking here for quite awhile reading and searching the forum for as much information i can get.

I've been riding for a few years now, my first bike was a 2003 Ninja 250 that I LOVED, however I have the need for speed and wanted something bigger.

I've recently picked up an 89 F1 project that's been quite an experience. It was going to be a quick fix it up and ride it type deal, which it's now turned into a amateur restoration project.

I'm sure i'll have many questions along the way (not much information or parts for this old bird).

If a mod wants to hook my account up with the ability to view linked pictures and the ability to PM people that'd be great.

Good to see that you are bringing the ole bike back to life. Hope you can get all the issues sorted quickly & easily repair them.

 

Thanks I'll be posting progress pictures as they come. As it sits it'll need new fork seals, front brakes, carburator work and every plastic fairing on this thing is either broken, cracked or cobbled.

She was not treated very well at all from the previous owner, but she's in good hands now.
