Default New guy from West Virginia

Hello all. Thought I would take a moment to introduce myself. My name is Bruce and I live in Charleston, WV. I have been riding pretty much my whole life. I bought my first street bike around 11 years ago. It was a Honda Shadow 600. Since then I have owned quite a few other bikes such as a Shadow 1100, a Yamaha Warrior 1700, A Kawi ZZR600, a ZX6R, a Ninja 1400, an MV Agusta F4 1000R and a Yamaha R6S. I currently own a 2013 ZX6R 636 and recently purchased a 2004 CBR600RR to use as a track bike.

I look forward to hanging out around here and learning from more experienced Honda owners.

I do have one question, how long am I on probation? I have to wait for a mod to approve my posts and I am unable to look at photo's hosted on the forum.

Now, my bikes....

This one is a work in progress. There is a thread in the CBR600RR forum.

welcome to the forum Bruce. sweet rides. there's not a number to give you with the moderated status, it's all up to when an admin notices you've been making some posts that got approved. shouldn't take too long for you.

Welcome to CBRF! That's a beautiful ninja! What is the "work in progress" part about the Honda?

Thank you. For the CBR mostly cosmetic. I've finally managed to strip all of the plastidip off of the fairings and doing giving the fairings a little TLC. I plan on replacing the rearsets, new windscreen, and a few other small things. Then I just need to perform some maintenance items and safety wire everything and I should be good to go.

Thank you. Honestly I haven't even been to a track day yet, this is going to be my first year. Summit is about six hours from me, mid Ohio is around three hours so I will probably be doing most of my track days there.

I hope to visit Summit, Mid Ohio, and VIR this season though.

Make a few diff posts in some diff areas. That should do it. If I recall it took a few days for me.

Already commented on the RR. Gorgeous. I must say as well that I grew up riding Kaws and still enjoy looking at them. Team green! Cheers.
