Hello everyone,

My name is John and I am from Dunedin, New Zealand.

I have recently bought 1990 CBR600F1 (jelly mould) as a project bike, its a bit rough round the edges but the engine is strong and the frame is straight.

I have fully restored a 1977 Yamaha RX125DX and a 1982 Honda CB250N (Superdream).

As a wee "day bike" I ride a Yamaha SR400 and have a Suzuki XF650 (Freewind) which I use for adventure/gravel riding.

My touring bike is a BMW F800GT which is going to take my wife and I round the South Island over the christmas holidays.

Small world. Ive just rejoined this site after several years away. And funnily enough, I am also in Dunedin!.
I just got back from driving to queenstown and back this morning to collect my first dedicated track bike.

Perhaps will see you around at some stage!

 

Thats cool, the OMCC are having a Have a go/Track Day at Levels in Timaru 18th March, hopefully see you there.

I go to all of those - Ill be there with a modified R1 road bike, and Ill have my new cbr race bike there for that one too
