Hello guys!
Hello guys!
Name is Anders, age of 27 and hail from Sweden.
I got my motorcycle license back in July last year and bought my first Honda CBR about a month ago.
Isnt she a beauty..
Its a CBR1000f -89 and i believe i got it at a good price (2338$)
Currently working on restoring/replacing some of the more exposed bits and pieces such as the drivechain/sprockets and the exhaust.
I also plan on a overhaul of the carbs and some general fine tuning while im at it
This sure looks like a good place to bring any questions i could have, and also the little knowledge i yet posses regarding the CBR.
Glad to be here, see yall around

Hey, and välkommen till forumet from the other side of the Nordsjön! That is one fine looking Hurricane you got there! How much it has on the meter? Whatever you plan on doing to it this is surely the place to look for instructions, the knowhow the guys have especially of the 1000f keeps surprising me almost daily, you can post a pic of a random nut and they tell you where it is from and probly how tight it has been torqued pop in to the Hurricane saloon to say hi too! And look up for a member named Migge as he also is from sweden, who knows you might even know him!

We tried jumping it with a fully charged jump pac and it still only clicked I’m getting it back from the shop tomorrow because I do have the owners manual and I’m going to go through it with that, I mean it’s an 88 there really isn’t much wiring for the starting circuit. Will keep you in the loop
