so i purchased a 94 cbr600f2 that needs some work and figured it would be a good idea to find a forum to join that may help the rebuild process go a little smoother. i have ridden dirt bikes and atvs since i was very young and in the past few years have gotten to ride a few sport bikes that belonged to friends of mine. I got this bike in a running condition for $500 and only really needs a few things before i can out it on the road. so i hope to make some friends and gain knowledge here

 

Well you've definetely come to the right place for knowledge on the old F2! Any info you'll need will be found somewhere around here, and if you can't find it just ask away! It is a common custom to make a build thread of your project so anyone interested can follow just by subscribing and you don't have to make an own thread for every question that might come up. Also not required but preferred to state your whereabouts as specially if you live in the US, chances are that the pair of helping hands you so desperately need or that rare spare part you've been looking for, or just a riding buddy, is just a block or two away!

Although it might need some work, $500 is a great deal on a running F2, especially since it doesn't look like a complete disaster!

The F2 is a great machine - I've got two myself - good luck on all that you do with it, and put together a thread in the F2 section, with your progress!
