Yeah I am not a power-wheelie-in-rush-hour-going-90mph-stunter either. We have a private parking lot that gets coned off.

Not to say I wont clutch one up on the back roads tho

Is that a '54 back there in the corner? Whatchya doing with it? Are those clip-ons that are upside down? How do those ride? I thought about doing it with a bike, but I decided against it.

Nothing wrong with some hooliganism on the back roads. Just don't broadcast it on the forum.

yeah thats an 03 954. have yet to ride it. bought it wrecked, but engine is prime. has 636 clip ons flipped. The fit nicely without having to trim the upper. Ive always hated turned in street bike clip ons. The kid spray painted everything, bolts, hoses, calipers, everything. its going to take a bit but should be beast.

Right on - that's what my bike has looked like more or less for the last two years while I've been building it. If you plan on riding with those flipped clip-ons, let me know what it's like. I'm curious. It doesn't seem like it could be comfortable, but Ive heard guys rave about it, so I don't know.

Throw a build thread up in the SF section. That would be GREAT to see you make progress on the bike.

The subframe kind of threw me off with the headlight - what's going on with that?

Thats the plate mount thats spray bombed red, and the subframe and undertail are sprayed black. The thing is a mess. Ill post up a build thread, its going to be ff at the end I think, I just love the way these 54s look ff.

I rode dirt for a long time so turned in clip ons are uncomfortable to me. I had side mount 0degree clip ons on my f4i before putting db bars on it (still have them, 2 upper triples makes it easy to switch). The 54's flipped clip ons feel nice when sitting, but I havent ridden it yet so cant be sure of how I like them.
